The Eternal Flame of Love

As a daughter of The Great Mother Goddess…one of many ways I connect with Imbolc/Brigid’s Day and Valentine’s Day(February 2-14)is through…Oshun. This deity is the Yoruba cosmological force of water, moisture, and attraction…these“energies” and or “attributes” are brought through the planet Venus(who rules Taurus),which is also, archetypical, the Goddess of our eternal flame… passion, seduction, grace, beauty, love, and creativity…all of us have this archetype within us…the one that calls to our desires. In this instance,S-he is known as the Venus(Love) of our inner-beings. The mother, the one who sends sensual and sexual pleasures, warmth, comfort and human love.

You see, contact with this Essence heals one relationship with self and thereupon, with the divine…the fe-male energy-field within ourselves. This union of self opens us up to supreme consciousness which one can experience as messages to the soul that appear through the higher side of the consciousness.

One should realize that through a giving heart and or spirit it is your FREE choice to experience love, in its many manifestations, through the reflection of self-love,extended love, and or divine love…for love is present everywhere and should be in all bonding unions in one’s life.

Extend yourself…to opening up Supreme  Consciousness…

 Blessings,

 Creolemoon

Notes:  Valentine, Eros,Mars,Cupid are lesser aspects of the Supreme Goddess of Love… for the Venus of Eternal Love knows no bounds.

Celebrating the going forth of Wadjet at Xmas

Serpent Goddess of Justice, Time, Heaven and Hell…She who rears up

Not too long ago a dear friend visited me and we touched on the subject of if my family and I celebrated Christ in our Xmas. I would like to respond with the following cosmology…you see, I am a High Priestess of the Great Mother Goddess…Isis, Kwan Yin, Kali, a crowned daughter of Iemanja…whatever one wishes to call her by name…I follow Shakti… an Ultimate Energy-field that pushes me into further growth. I follow the Sun and Moon the Stars…the Womb…the everlasting Cosmic…and what you see and read from my thoughts…is just a brief exploration of what unlimited possibilities are within…Consequently, I cannot express the detail of what I celebrate on Xmas…in such a blog post. But, I would like to share a gift with you…a gift of enlightenment…

You see, one of many of these personifications that I CELEBRATE are as follows;Wadjet is the Cobra Kundalini goddess( a serpent that is within each of us that ascends to the immortal divine)of Lower Egypt whom eventually took the title, The Eye of Ra. Wadjet, the personification of the north, a forceful snake-headed protector of kings, childbirth, and children-a motherly defender. Wadjet can be seen rearing from the forehead of the rulers, such as King Tutankhamen.

Many Egyptian deities, such as Wadjet, are connected with specific hours, days, and months. Her time is considered to function as the fifth hour of the fifth day of the month, or lunar cycle. Consequently, December 25th, on the Egyptian calendar, is considered to function as the “going forth of the Goddess.” In the Pyramid Texts,it said that the papyrus plant emerged from her, and that she is connected to the forces of growth.”

How To Be A Real Witch On Halloween

Sunday, March 27th, 2011

I’d like to take this opportunity to briefly share with you what a Real Witch does for and on Halloween. Proclaiming myself a Witch has brought on a lot of questions from those outside the journey of the craft about how a Witch celebrates this very spiritual time of year; a time of transition for self.

See Halloween,Samhain, and or Autumn Equinox is the celebration of death through life, the Cosmic Cycle of Life. This is a time for personal reflection, and a time for recognizing our faults and creating a vessel by which we can continue to heal ourselves. It is a time of reflection, honor and celebration for the souls of the dead. It is a time to honor and celebrate the giving relationship between mother-earth,grandpa sun, father sky,and grandmere moon.

Let us start with the preparation for this holiday. It is ritualistically celebrated through Samhain,Summer’s End,better known as Halloween,All Hallows Eve,Day of the Dead, and or Winter Nights,on October 31-November 1.

November 1st is the actual day of Samhain, it is the New Year’s Day for Witches. The Eve and day of Samhain are characterized as a time when the barriers and or veil between the human and supernatural worlds are broken and or the thinnest. Which means that spirits and or souls of loved ones have more power and or ability to visit us. The souls of the dead are said to visit their homes at midnight.

Also, the reincarnation of the “SUN” is an aspect of this very special time of year. Samhain welcomes Winter. And, Witches celebrate this reincarnation and note the absence of the Sun who will be reborn at Winter Solstice and or Yule…known as the Child of Promise. Samhain is the start of the dark time of the year when the Sun goes lower each day and begins to weaken…and the rising of the Pleiades occurs.

So as the door knocks and children yell, “Trick or Treat”, you may be surprised who you just might let in!

Blessed Be…

A Sacred Journey

Wednesday, March 23rd, 2011

As I anxiously await the birth of my 3rd child…I find myself preparing spiritually for this life passage we call childbirth. It is a sacred journey.

I believe there is “more” to life than what our senses perceive. There is a level of wonder which transcends ordinary consciousness. Moreover, bringing forth a new life into this human sphere is the most powerful calling that anyone can do. I feel honored. Without this passage…we simply would not exist.

There has always been a “Magickal” power of women to create new life from within ourselves. Just like “Mother-Earth”…as she produces life from a deep dark cave…

The light and Magick of new life is a healthy human experience. Within the birthing experience, we meet with an opportunity for personal transformation. Be aware of this miracle growing inside. Hence, there are many paths on how to still our mind toward this consciousness…toward this divine within. This is the state in which deep transformation can begin…just by being. If we focus while giving birth…it can and will truly be a transformation for our mind, body, and spirit.

We need be conscious of our nutrition, of our physical health, and with those who make up our support system. If we can find a way to concentrate on the relationship of our experience to the archetypal “Mother-Earth”, we can deepen our own journey, thus sharing that strength with those we come in contact with.

In the breath of Iemanja…we have an ocean in our womb. And, within that ocean life begins again and again-developing from this one tiny cell to an independent conscious being. All of creation is happening from within our body. We are all of creation.

Blessed Be,

What is a Witch?

Wednesday, March 23rd, 2011

I am often asked, “Why do I call myself a Witch or practice witchcraft?” I simply say, “I have always known that I was a witch…a practitioner of Earth and or Natural Magick”. I have always known witchcraft as a path that draws primarily on the Element of Earth and the honor of Nature. A path composed of the elements Earth, Air, Fire, and Water.

Incidentally, it was not until I was much older, than that young child, that I realized what the “magick” aspect of witchcraft was molding my psyche into. You see, the magick that I hold so dear projects my natural energies (such as personal power); all to bring about that needed change. In psychoanalytic terms,  ”Transpersonal Psychology” in this instance, that magick is the balance created between mind, body, and spirit. Consequently, magick is a natural, not supernatural, practice.

In regard to the Elements, I speak of more than just the physical elements. For example, each element symbolizes our physical, spiritual, and emotional attributes.

Consider each element is their natural state; thus, examining within yourself what spiritual and or emotional aspect you connect with them. For example,

  • AIR is the element of the mind. It stimulates intellect, inspiration, and imagination. It contains the ideas, knowledge, dreams and wishes. Air aids us in visualization, a technique that is very important in magick.
  • FIRE is the element that promotes change and passion. It cultivates creativity, motivation, will power, drive, and sensuality. Fire encourages sexuality, both physical and spiritual. Fire governs all candle magick.
  • WATER is the element of emotion and subconscious. It is love, purification, intuition, compassion, family, and mysteries of self. Water accentuates psychic ability.
  • EARTH is the element of stability and of the body. It contains the wisdom, strength, growth, and prosperity in each of us. Earth Fosters the physical earth and the very heart of life.
  • Spirit is that which permeates all things…It connects us to each-other…to the divine-energy.

So you see, being a Witch and practicing Magick is a Positive! It is a path of self-knowledge, a path of peace and light.

Blessed Be,
